Class Agreement

Injury Waiver Release and Class/Reservation Policies:
You must be 18 years or older to reserve a seat at our studio, otherwise a parent/guardian must agree to the following terms on-line or in writing at the studio at the beginning of the scheduled class.

By checking the agree box during the payment process, you are releasing Cork & Board DIY Art Studio and all of its affiliates from all financial harm that may be incurred due to any injury during the making of a sign. You acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with the use of paint/stain, hammers, drills and all other tools that are utilized in the process of making a sign and therefore release Cork & Board DIY Art Studio from all liability.

Damage Release Waiver:
Although the paints that are utilized in the production of making our signs are water soluble, the stains are not and both are at risk of damaging one’s clothing. We do provide aprons to help protect against staining and damage to clothing, however it is advised to wear clothing that you don’t mind damaging. By checking the box at checkout, you hereby release Cork & Board DIY Art Studio from the accidental damage to your clothing.

Cancellation Policy:
Due to limited seating & the preparation and expense to create a stencil for a sign, we only offer class credit. No refunds will be given unless circumstances warrant and is at the sole discretion of Cork & Board DIY Art Studio.

Due to staffing, we reserve the right to cancel classes if attendance is below 6 attendees. Cork and Board Studios also reserves the right to cancel a class due to bad weather. Notification will be sent at least 4 hours prior to class and participants will have the option to reschedule. You will NOT be charged for canceled classes due to low participation or weather.

Media Waiver:
By booking a class with us you (and all others you are registering for) are agreeing to allow us to use photos of you on our marketing pieces, website and social media. By checking the Accept Policies box, I forfeit all rights to bring a suit against Cork & Board DIY Art Studio for any reason. By checking this box, I, on behalf of myself and the guests for whom I am purchasing the class, acknowledge and grant permission to Cork & Board DIY Art Studio to take and post photos from my event in the company’s social media accounts without compensation. I also grant permission for potential use of photos/digital images of me and my guests in promotional materials without compensation. These materials might include printed or electronic publications, websites or other electronic communications.

I understand that Cork and Board Studios will not release my name and/or identity or those of my guests in descriptive text or commentary in connection with the image(s) without my written, expressed consent. I authorize the use of these materials indefinitely without compensation to me or my guests. All negatives, positives, prints, digital reproductions and video and audio recordings shall be the property of Cork & Board DIY Art Studio.
